Welcome to Cluster 8-4 We are on the Road to Success
Failure Is Not An Option 100% Mission Possible We believe that ALL of our students can be successful and reach high levels of achievement in school and in life. We truly believe that every student can learn; and we will work hard to provide the help, support, and guidance necessary for learning.
Late Work Policy Any assignment turned in late will receive a 10% deduction per calendar day. An academic detention with the teacher will be assigned to the student for any late assignment. If the assignment is not completed and turned in by the second day or the student fails to attend the teacher detention, the teacher will assign a mandatory academic lunch detention. Having late work or missing assignments and receiving academic detentions will affect the students' conduct grade. A student can receive a conduct grade of a "P" or "U".
Tardy Policy Students are expected to be in their classtoom with their supplies when the bell rings. Once the bell has sounded, teachers will shut and lock their doors, and any student without a pass will be considered tardy. After the student has logged his or her information with the assistant principal, he or she will be given a "return to class" pass. Tardies will result in the following consequences: 1st Tardy - Warning 2nd Tardy - Warning 3rd Tardy - After School Detention 4th Tardy - After School Detention 5th Tardy - Saturday Detention
