About Me: I am originally from the Detroit/Ann Arbor area of Michigan. I graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelors of Science in Geology. I worked as a Geologist for six years before becoming a science teacher. During my years as a geologist, I traveled throughout the USA as a consultant studying contamination of soil and groundwater as well as issues associated with wetlands, hazardous waste management, archaeological sites, flood zones, endangered species, etc. I look forward to sharing my real-world experiences in the classroom. I will finish my Masters in Education in 2009. |
