Welcome to Pershing Middle School Theatre. Pershing boasts some of the best performance spaces in H.I.S.D. We have two blackbox theatre spaces and an auditorium that seats up to 442 people. In addition to top facilities Pershing has the latest advancments in lighting and sound equipment.

Our Auditorium

Pershing has two blackbox theatres. A blackbox theatre is a multifunctional theatre space. The audience seating can be moved and the performance space can be tailored for each production. These are often employed in college and professional theatres. At Pershing the blackbox theatres are used for the 6th Grade plays and also double as classrooms.

Auditorium Control Room

Our top of the line light and sound equipment gives students the opportunity to work in a professional environment. Most of our equipment is used by High School and professional theatre companies.
