Today, March 10, PJE attended the Annual Blinn College Jazz Festival and recieved a First Division rating and “Best Middle School of the Day”. Students also brought home “Outstanding Musician” certificates, these students are: Trenton Alcee (Trombone), Damond Mills (trumpet), Corey Morris (trombone), and Elijah Micheaux (trumpet). Another student, Quban Hall (alto sax), brought home the “Outstanding Soloist” trophy. Judges really enjoyed PJE’s style and energy. This is PJE’s 3rd year recieving these honors at the Blinn College Jazz Fest.
