Comments Off The Pershing Jazz Ensemble competed at the Blinn College Jazz Fest and “wowed” the judges. PJE recieved First place in the Middle School category and recieved 2 outstanding soloist awards (Jason Weilee- trombone, Lawrence Garvin- tenor sax) and took home the covenant “Outstanding Saxophone of the Day” (Quban Hall- alto sax)

Comments Off The Jazz Ensemble performed Saturday, March 6 at the HISD Jazz Festival and took home a First Division trophy, a Best In Class trophy, and three Outstanding Musician Awards. These outstanding Musicians are Travis Bibbs, Quban Hall, and Lawrence Garvin.
